It’s hard to keep up this time of year as the birthdays start rolling in from Louisville, Richmond and San Diego. First, Happy Birthday wishes to our nieces Victoria, Kristin and Kelly!

Today marks the birthday of my best bud Troy, who joins me in the old man category. One more year for the big 4.0! You’re young at heart, my friend.

Also today we celebrate the birthday of our nephew, Stanely Davis!

Kid Flash

USATF Track & FieldOur little nephew continues to impress with lighting fast times on the track. At only age 10, Stanley (Davis) has rapidly become a young track star. Today we received word of his new personal bests in the 1500 meter and 400 meter events during the USATF Youth Championships taking place in Greensboro, North Carolina. In what was a national event, Stanley placed a narrow 2nd place in the 1500 meters “Bantam Boys” division (10 year and under) with a time of 4:59:5! In the 400 meters he placed 3rd overall with a time of 1:03:92. Junior Olympics are next. Can the 2016 Olympics be in his future?

March 28, 2003 – I'll never forget I was holding an interview for a new customer service manager when right in the middle of the interview I got the call that Nathalie "was coming out". Our good friends Tammi and Michael Wakeman watched Mallory while Stacey did all the hard work. Following Nathalie's birth, a fresh-from-nap Mallory rocked her new sister and without provocation bursted into "Rock-a-bye Baby….". As far as sharing time with new siblings, Nathalie was an instant hit with Mallory. Stacey's mom, Harriet, flew out the very next day and provided her much needed support in the crazy house that followed.
